Graduating students of the 2025 batch at Holy Cross International College (HCIC) in Yaoundé were encouraged to let integrity, service, humility, and excellence define their journey.

Emmanuel Buban Ngu, Proprietor of the school, delivered this message during the graduation ceremony for the 13th batch of Upper Sixth students and the second batch from the Cambridge International Section on Saturday, May 17.
“To the graduates of the 13th batch—congratulations!” Buban Ngu said. “This is your moment. You worked hard, and today we honor you.”

He emphasized that graduates are stepping out not just as scholars but as ambassadors of HCIC. “Go into the world with courage, dignity, and above all, with the strong Christian values you have acquired here,” he urged. “Let integrity, service, humility, and excellence define your journey.”
Buban Ngu expressed heartfelt appreciation to parents and guardians for entrusting their children to the school. “Thank you for the sacrifices you make daily to keep your children at Holy Cross. Your commitment doesn’t go unnoticed. I especially recognize and appreciate those parents who have donated prizes for our deserving students today,” he said.

Discussing the expansion of the educational mission, Buban Ngu announced plans for a new primary school and a sports academy. While administrative and technical formalities have caused some delays, he reassured attendees that these projects will be realized soon. He also noted that completing the chapel remains a top priority.
“We remain unwavering in our mission to provide a holistic education that nurtures both the mind and body,” Buban Ngu stated.

To students who exhibited acts of indiscipline, he urged them to use their remaining days in school for reflection, growth, and positive transformation. “The world is watching, and we hope to see you leave here not just with academic laurels but with noble character,” he concluded.
A total of 29 students graduated from Upper Sixth, while Kiss Borel Mbaoh graduated from the Cambridge International Section of the school.
