The success of students at Holy Cross International College (HCIC) was the focus of the 2025 Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meeting that took place on October 18.

The gathering brought together parents, teachers, and school administrators to discuss the progress and challenges faced by the institution. During the meeting, several resolutions were passed to create a more conducive learning environment for students.
Among the key decisions, parents and children reaffirmed their commitment to combating indiscipline, stressing the importance of maintaining HCIC as a safe and supportive space for education.
Both teachers and parents recognized that a disciplined environment is crucial for fostering academic success and personal growth. Emmanuel Buban Ngu, the proprietor of HCIC, urged parents to serve as role models of discipline and integrity for their children.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude for their continued support in the construction of the new chapel, which he believes will serve as a spiritual haven for the school community.
Buban Ngu noted that while the chapel project is progressing well, other initiatives—such as the primary school, football academy, and hospital—are currently facing technical delays.
Despite these challenges, he expressed confidence that, with God’s guidance, all these projects will ultimately come to fruition. Welcoming both new and returning parents, the PTA President stressed the association’s vital role as a link between the school and families.

The President highlighted the importance of open communication and collaboration in ensuring the best outcomes for students. Furthermore, the President commended the staff for their dedication and hard work during the previous school year, applauding their efforts in achieving notable academic successes.
Addressing the issue of indiscipline, the PTA President stated, “Addressing indiscipline has to be a shared responsibility, requiring efficient collaboration between the school and parents.”
This sentiment resonated with many parents, who acknowledged the need for a united front in promoting positive behavior among students. Parents responded positively, pledging their commitment to support HCIC in its mission.
They stressed the importance of maintaining a creative and enriching learning environment for their children, while also strengthening the collaboration between the school and home.
This collective effort, they believe, will not only enhance academic performance but also contribute to the overall development of the students as responsible and disciplined individuals.
